Couldn't find this in the Navi Manual

Actually, I have two closely related questions:

(1) Is there a way to store unnamed locations that I've been to as a future Point of Interest that I can return to later?

(2) If I can store a location, can I name it? If so, how?

Thanks, guys!

You can store it, but I don't know how to name it. I've got a point stored in today's destinations that I entered by accidentally pushing the joystick, and it won't let me erase it.

When saving the current position, it will save into your previous desitination. Then, you can save it to your personal address book, so you could retrieve it in the future.

Did I answer you Q? I'm not sure your Q. :o

Where is the personal address book at? I found the "Today's Destinations" thingy, but that isn't what I was looking for.

Personal Address is on the menu directly below Previous Destinations.

Isn't that just one address? I'll check in a few minutes when I head out to work

(Please don't check the time that I'm sending this reply out at, it's embarassing ...)

You are confusing Personal Address with Home Address.

You can only have one Home Address.

This feature was put it by request from wives that never saw their husbands at night.

You can store multiple addresses in the Personal Address section. You can give them individual names and even place them into groups. Persona addressses can be added for 2 different users. Took me a while to figure out how to get it to work, since the controls to add and edit them aren't available from the Personal Addresses screen for some reason. You need to go to the setup menu (press the setup/info button on the console) and then I think go to page 2 of the setup screen. There should be buttons there for Home Address and Personal Addresses. Pick the Personal Addresses one and start following the prompts.

I'll have to give that saving the current destination suggestion a try as I've been trying to figure out how to do this for a while now.

This is my only negative on the NAVI....There should be a save to Personal Address book from Previous Addresses and for current location.....Not through the settings menu......Kind of like a save e-mail address option in Outlook when you receive an e-mail.

You can save current position through the settings menu...but it should be a one-touch option....

Plus you shold be able to change User1 and User2 to your name.

OK, I found it after chatting with my salesperson and then checking here again as marquis described.

I kept trying it in the other Personal Address section through the Destination menu (which still makes more sense to me).

At least I found it. I kind of wish each address held more than one phone number, though.
