Changing volume on handsfree

I'm using a Sony 610 with AT&T wireless service on my 2004 TL. How can I change the volume on speakers to hear someone speak louder and on microphone so someone can hear me louder?

Is it all limited by phone capability?

Is there a way to transfer phonebook on phone to Handsfree setup in car? Or do I have to manually type in stuff? I also have the Nav System. Can this be used in any way.

Thanks,

Hans.....

Your car's radio volume controls will allow you to hear someone speak louder. There is a speaker calibration setting available in the 04TL Navi's maintenance screens that adjust the microphone sensitivity, but that may only adjust for Navi voice recognition. It may not affect HFL microphone sensitivity. I never tried it.

Once you've found a destination using the Nav cant you instruct the Nav to call (using the number thats in the DVD's database..)
