Is there any way to jump from category to category within XM? I realize if you hit the mode button you can cycle between scanning through all stations and scanning through only the stations within the current category.

I'd like to jump from category to category, without hunting for the first channel of the next category?

I assume there is no way to do this...

 

i wish there some sort of menu where you can navigate thru the stations and categories. this scrolling thing is not very user friendly.

Yep, the +/- buttons will skip to the next category.

An easier way to wander through the channels would definately be nice. The tune knob just doesn't cut it.

 

You need to hold down the MODE/DISP button to put it into CATEGORGY mode.

Hold it down for at least 5 seconds. You will hear a BEEP, and then the SEEK +/- buttons will select a category, and the tune knob with switch stations within that category.

 

You can also use your presets for the categories, then use the dial to scan within the categories.
