Change Color on Speedo Needle?
OK, I searched and could not find any posts on modifying instrument clusters.
I love the blue accents and tic marks on the speedomoter (and tach etc...) but would like to know if it is possible to change or modify the the needle to something other than red? White or blue perhaps?
Thanks in advance

I dont have any idea of how to do this mod but i think its a great idea!!! The red needles just throws everything off. It just stands out too much and looks kinda ugly.

almost impossible since the needle itself is red, actually it is clear and painted red from behind, also there is a red LED lighting it up
it can be done, but removing the needles is the best way to break the cluster. if you have 500 bucks laying around then go for it.
the ring color change it very simple, since the ring is clear, and only uses a blue LED to light it up
as you see here

` . ' . SUV haterrr
rbf, thanks for the pictures. I was thinking about changing the lights to amber, looks like it is possible. On your picture, the ring itself seems to be colored blue. Is it so?

the ring is clear plastic, which makes the tick marks on the cluster, the other blue part is the background which can not be changed, it's printed on that sheet of paper
