CD Player issues, please help

CD Player issues, please help

My CD Player has recently stopped working in my TL w/Navi. When I press any button associated with the CD player I get no response. This includes the eject, load, and the CD Tape button on the deck. Also when using the steering wheel controls it passes right over the cd player without even acknowledging it exist. Has anyone scene this?

You are correct, the car is under warranty, but they informed me that if the CD player was in fact hosed that they would have to send the CD player back to the manufacturer for the CD retrieval. This could take as long as 2 months.

I was just hoping someone else would know something about this issue.

Of course if no one does then the dealer will be my next option.

Try one of these steps:

1. Holding down the ejecdt button for 8 seconds, and see if it will kick out all the CD's in the changer.

2. removing power to the radio, by removing the fuse in the fuse box, and see if it will reset. There also may be a reset button somewhere....

The damn thing just started working all of the sudden. I don't trust it now.

You may not get your CDs back for 2 months (although it only took mine 2 weeks), but they will replace your headunit.
