Hey Everyone,

My CD player stopped working. The CD number shows up on the status display, but the selection number won't display unless you press the next or previous buttons. There is no sound from the CD and it frequently goes into to self-eject mode. The radio (XM & FM) and tape player are working.

Anyone have any ideas?

does it give you an error code? It might be some bad electronics inside the radio or a faulty changer mechanism.

 

Happened to me today in my '05. What did you end up doing?

 

It happend to me too couple months ago. What's wrong is that the disc reader wing surpose to swing out to read the disc after the disc is changed, but it got stuck or the spring is lose. i couldn't figure out how to fix it, so before i put it back i was like what the hell this piece of crap is broken anyway so i bang it really hard. it works for awhile and stuck again.

i end up going with aftermarket headunit.

 

I had this same exact problem with my 05 TL. i didnt listen to music for 2 weeks.sux. but i just took it back to acura and they installed a whole new radio/cd player. just go back to acura if your still under warranty
