Cd Player!!

I have tried various burnt CDs, different brands etc...it takes a few seconds to start to play, and takes a while to play songs if i skip from track to track. The higher the track number, the long it takes. anyway at all to fix this w/o buying a new head unit? i'd rather spend my money on an I pod

ummm what brand cd-r are you using and what software are you using to create the disks? i have burnt many cd's and there is absolutely no problem with playing them in the TL. if there continues to be a problem i would get the unit checked out.

I've always used some random brand....optium...i've never had a problem with them, i've even tried sony just to be sure. I've burnt em using Nero. I dont know if it would help the situation, but I have a 2001 TL. I dont know if maybe something was wrong that year. If there was, is there anyway to fix it?

Maybe you should post this in the 2nd Gen TL forum as the sound system is completely different from the 3G.

It could be your CD writer. How do your CD's (that you made) play elsewhere?
