CD Format Read error
#2
What kind of disk are you using? DVD-A or CD? Commercial or burned by you? Did you try other disks?
I've had a format error 2 or 3 times, but reinserted the disk and it was fine after that.
Make sure the disk is clean. If you burned it yourself, make sure the session is closed after writing.

Try new media---different manufacturer and different type (RW vs +/-R).
Burn at 2X speed. Slower speeds allow the laser to burn deeper pits in the media.
Change to another burning software tool. I use IMGBurn, a fantastic little free Windows utility.
If you don't already know about it, search for Adobeman's DVD-A Author Tool, another fantastic gem of a tool provided by another AZ member.

the 04-06 TL WILL NOT read any mp3 cd, only CD's that are in cda format (audio cd) or in DVD-A (dvd audio) format.
