Red face CD changer not loading or ejecting '04 TL

I have a 2004 TL with Navi and yesterday the Cd changer wouldnt load or eject CDs, has anyone experienced this issue? When I press the eject button it says ejecting but nothing comes out it seems like its stuck.

Any recommendations from ppl who have experienced this would be great. Thank you.

it is likely a loading mech. You will need to either get a refurb from Acura, send it in for service, or replace it w/ aftermarket.

Soi just purchased a '05 (with 74k miles) acura tl with the nav/ els 6 cd changer system and love it, unfortunately JUST the other day while listening to my music i noticed it blanked out and after i stopped for lunch the cd's stopped playing, AND ejecting!
The radio works fine although when i try and cycle through the cd's and then go back to the radio it stops working (radio that is), someone please help me!!!
and how would i go about getting radio and nav codes... i keep reading about disconnecting the battery, just in case i need them...

Sucks, this happened to me on my '05.

Fortunately it was replaced under warranty. Dealership said some of my CDs were real cheapo and the label started peeling off, which just jammed everything. Not sure if that's the case or they messed up the CDs when they got them out, but I did get the CDs back and one was flaking apart. Never used those CDs again.

Radio/Navi codes should be in the Maintenance journal, hand-written on the first couple pages. There also should be a white credit-card sized card with the numbers printed. If not, you should be able to contact and Acura dealership, tell them what happened, and they can get for you. The dealership that originally sold the car should definitely have on file.

Just bought an '04 and the guy didn't have the card. Forgot they hand-write it on the maintenance book and called my local dealership to get it. They said they couldn't find it for my VIN, but if you hold 1 & 6 on the radio it will show a serial number, and they can reference with that.

Good luck, hope it doesn't cost much, if anything.
