Catastrophic failures with a Dice R4 unit
Has anyone had their Dice unit fry an older iPod? I plugged in my 20gb 4g into the Dice unit for testing, and after it completely drained the battery in seconds, it did not turn back on. The navi screen in my 2006 TL registered that a device was connected, but it showed that it was immediately disconnected then my screen wouldn't turn back on.
A similar thing happened to my 2gb 1g nano. Now when I turn it on, the screen area gets extremely hot and the battery doesn't appear to be holding its charge.
My Touch, however, seems to be working fine, but I'm afraid to plug it back into the Dice unit if it's looking like it fried my other two iPods.
Just wanted to see if anyone else is having this issue.
