As the title states, I am looking for a car mount for my ipod touch that fits the look of my Acura TL (black interior) and is positioned near around the shifter level and where i can still get a good view of it from the driver side.

I am thinking that the best place for the base of the car mount would be in one of those flip up cubbyholes under the stereo. but the holes are too small for most car mount bases.

It does the job, but I am wondering if there is something better.

I will eventually install a ipod integration car kit so i won't have to worry about charging the ipod or connecting it to my car stereo. For now, i just want a place to put it where it will look like it fits in. I am not looking into any that will be places on a window, dash, or air vent. Just somewhere low and semi-discrete.

Anyone else have this problem and have found a solution?
Can anyone share what they did or if they know of anything?
I would appreciate any help!

Additionally, I would like a car holder than can also accommodate other music players or phones and not just an itouch, but that may just be asking for too much.

found another mount (proclip) that looks promising, too bad the video doesn't show how it looks from the passenger side.

not sure if this is easily removable either, i don't want to have this hanging around in case i need to remove it when i park.
