Car in bodyshop, got it back and sound system is wonky

got my car repainted, got it back and something is up with the sound system. obviously the body shop took off all the door panels, etc so they would have to disconnect the speakers and all that.

now, i have a lot of interference like a hissing type sound even when the volume is on zero. it's like annoying dead air sound. also, even more strange, when i have music playing...and put the car in reverse, the music gets quieter...

i haven't torn anything apart yet to see if it's something obvious...just wondering if anyone had any insight on where i should look first.

system is jl 500/1, jl 300/2, jl12w6, massive ck6 front components/tweeters with line driver and crossovers.

As said, wiring is most likely. The hissing/feedback could also be from your gains, any chance they moved them? Not as likely obviously but I'd check them anyway just to be sure. Then you'll know if ya gotta go back there for some words or not

I went through something similar when doing my install. My problem ended up being the crossovers in the doors just needed to be moved, that was causing the static sound with zero volume.
