Can't pair iphone anymore

Ok when I first bought my car i paired my iphone with the hfl system. Then I recently I bought the peripheral ipod thing. Well when someone called I couldn't hear them but they could hear me. So then I upgraded my firmware on my ipod to 2.1 and the peripheral dock to it's latest firmware. So now when I try to pair it everything is fine until the car ask me to name it and then it just disconnects. I doubt anyone can help but if you have any suggestions please let me know. thanks

first use the delete command in the HFL to delete the old phone, and then pair the iphone again with a COMPLETELY different name. So if you called it Iphone before, call it AT&T this time. Or Apple. Worked for me

I did delete the old phone and tried it with a new name the next time. Didn't work. I'll have to have the hfl module replaced I guess. Thanks for the inputs!

You can also reset the module by pulling the fuse for it. I have had to do this as well.
