I have a disk stuck in my in-dash changer. It won't eject. Hitting the Disc/Tape button does nothing. Holding the eject button causes the disk to try to eject, but it won't. I initially got a "Disc Err" displayed in the information screen, but now it doesn't do that either. I disconnected the battery for 30 minutes, no luck. Any ideas on how to reset the radio or get it to eject?

No label. I was inserting a disk. It spit it out, then pulled it back in. Now, instead of trying to eject (sound of gears working), I get a loud clunk, clunk, clunk for about a minute whenever I start the car. Eventually it stops, but will do it again when I start the car again.

most likely the CD is then stuck....there isn't really much u can do unless you keep trying and it eventually pops out but that could cause further damage. best bet just take it to the dealer. shit like that shouldn't get stuck...

This happened to me once, if it's stuck and it's trying to eject the cd and you see it in the slot, just take another cd, use it to press down on the cd thats currently in the slot that's not ejecting. DO NOT STICK THE OTHER CD IN THERE. All your using it to do is barely press on the cd that's trying to eject. It seems like the motors that push the cd out need some help sometimes. If it happens again - dealer.

I had the same problem a few months ago, took it to the dealer and they ordered me another radio, swapped it a later date and waited over a month to get my cd's back....all under warranty, they said it was the third case they had seen so far and one RL...but not enough to warrant a recall...lol....

if you can see the cd see if you can grab it with your fingertips or perhaps some fine needlenose pliers---ONLY iIF YOU CAN SEE THE EDGE OF THE CD---if it doesnt come out easy take it to the dealer. I took mine out that got stuck(it had a label on it) with some very small/thin needlenose and I put black electrical tape on the edge so I would not scratch. It came out VERY easy.-If yours doesnt, again , take it to the dealer.

jammed CD/DVD changer
My Cd/DVD changer recently jammed with 2 discs in it. There were noises that sounded mechanical when ever I pressed the eject button or when I started the vehicle. I tried looking in the slot to see if I might be able to "help" the stuck disc out but there was nothing visible.
Off to the the dealer where they replaced the unit even though I was a few thousand miles out of warranty, thanks Acura.
When I received the 2 DVDs that had been stuck in the changer I noticed that they had cracks around the center hole. I suspect this was either from the efforts of the chnager trying to eject them when they wouldn't or when they were extracted from changer, either way they are being destroed and once I copy/recreate them.
