Canadian Cluster to US Compatible?

Hey guys, tried searching for an answer but never got a clear answer. So i just bought a 2008 tl type s from canada to the US. The cluster ODO is in Km. So my question is that if I swap out the cluster with a US one is it plug and play and also will it read in Miles without any issues.

thanks in advance guys.

doesn't the cluster have both, miles and KM? Or are you talking about the digital part of the cluster?

I have a US can in Canada, my digital display in the cluster is in miles and I doesn't bother me at all.

your mileage would be different, you would have to take it to the dealer I am guessing to correct the mileage if they can even do that. Probably not worth it

On the bright side you can now say your car does 0-60 in like 3 seconds.
