I'm hot and heavy on the 2004 TL and will most likey be buying in Jan/Feb time frame. Love the car and the great nav system but wanted to find out if you can play music CDs while leaving the nav DVD in the system at the same time? I would have to have to pull out the DVD to play musci CDs.

The navigation disc is located in the trunk and is completely separate from the 6-CD changer in the center console. So in short, yes, you can play music discs while the navigation disc is doing its thing in the trunk.

 

The nav DVD is placed in a separate player in the trunk. Has no relation to the 6-disc player in the dash. Relax.
