Can you temporarily disable Handsfreelink?

I have a Motorola v710 paired to my TL. When it is paired I cannot access the Internet with my Ipaq h4155. Even if I am not on the phone it still will not connect as long as I'm sitting in the car. Hopefully Motorola will provide a firmware upgrade to allow it to work with two bluetooth devices at the same time. Is there a way to temporarily disable Handsfreelink so I can access the Internet and then reconnect later? I guess I could use the security feature to turn it on and off but I don't like the idea of having to enter the code whenever I want to use the phone. Thanks in advance.

When I want to access the Internet using my T616, I have to manually disconnect it from the HFL before I can connect it to my laptop for surfing. Unfortunately, my understanding of the Bluetooth spec is that there can only be one "Master" at a time, so I don't expect there will ever be a firmware update to allow the phone to be connected to both the HFL and another device at the same time.

BTW, surfing the web from your car rocks!! It's a great way to pass the time while waiting in the airport and similar places.

Thanks for the reply. Using a cable to connect my cell phone to my pda would work. Not as elegant as a bluetooth connection but nevertheless would work. Bluetooth should handle multiple devices though. I have connected my h4155 ipaq to my ALK Copilot GPS receiver via Bluetooth and then simultaneously connected the pda to the Motorola v710 via Bluetooth to connect to the internet. In some areas you are supposed to be able to get traffic conditions into the GPS software using such a method.
