Can you burn DVD-A with Nero?
I am a newbie and dont know jack about DVD-A. There is so much written on this here to the point there is only clutter in my head. Could someone please break it down for me in simpler terms.
1) How many average songs fit on DVD-A?
2) What equipment, hardware, software, and media do you need to get this accomplished?
3) Can you burn a simple DVD-A by just using Nero 5.5 that I have instaleld on my PC?
Thanks guys

The DVD-A Script Guy
1) 80 to 100 give or take on a single layer disk
2) DVD burner (-R media tends to be more compatible) and software that makes DVD-Audio Disks NOT Audio DVDs (audio tracks on a video based DVD)
3) Nere 5.5 will not. See my GUI (see my sig block) or check out Cirlinca DVD Audio solo (www.cirlinca.com)
If you have already have a DVD burner that burns DVD-R then try out Cirlinca DVD Audio Solo. If will cost nothing for the forst 5 disks you make.

Nero's website at one time claimed that Nero 7 Extreme Ultra Super Secret Edition (in 3D) supported DVD-Audio. That claim seems to have disappeared since and darned if I can find it!

DVD+RW works too if you change the booktype to DVD-ROM. I suspect DVD+R would work too if you change the booktype to DVD-ROM as well.

i have nero 6 and it doesnt work, try the cirlinca thing, it worked great for me. i have 71 songs on there and a full gig left... 99 seems to be the common number among the majority.
my only problem is that adobedude's program wouldnt let me add a few of my songs :P

yeah on adobeman's program the est. time is set at 4.32GB but you go to the options and change it to 8.something GB to add more songs to the cd, you could switch it around to to different groups
