Can someone measure their Navigation bezel opening?

Just thinking of doing an iPad install and deciding on whether to use a navigation bezel or a regular bezel. I know you have buttons sitting there that do nothing on a navi bezel, but I'd rather cut less, plus I have an idea for those buttons. Thanks!

I have mine out for a N7 install at the moment. Looks like it is about 3 7/8ths tall and 6 7/8ths wide.

Thanks! Hmmm...So the iPad mini might not be the best choice. The nexus looks really close from what I am seeing online though. Any modification needed?

On the 2012 N7 I don't believe you have to do anything to the bezel of the car depending on how you install. I dremeled down a couple small nubs that were holding it from fitting snug against the opening but that is it. Also I moved the charge port on the N7 to the back. I am not sure if that is completely necessary though. If you are planning the 2013 N7 I think you have to dremmel into the HVAC buttons because you can't relocate the charge port on that tablet. I was going to do the 2013 but after seeing that decided to keep with the 2012.
