So I finally installed the Peripheral PXAMG/iSimple in my car and I love it. It's easy to use and sound quality is great. I feel like I'm going crazy though in that I can not figure out how to make the thing play an album straight through in proper order. When I scroll through the tracks before playing they are in order, but if start playing from the first one they seem to play in a semi-alphabetical order instead of proper track number order.

Does any one know how to select an Artist, then an Album and have it play the songs in that album track number order?

Unfortunately this is how I tend to listen to music the most so it's pretty frustrating.

Is your ipod set to shuffle songs? In the setting menu of the ipod there should be an option to shuffle songs or shuffle albums. If this option is enabled, it may be your problem. Otherwise, I am not sure. Its a worth a try though.

you may try and organize your playlists/albums in itunes...

Mine plays in order.. I would check what kind of order you have them in itunes. I play albums all the time and it plays straight thru with no problem.

Use the 2 button to control the random function. It does not matter what you have the iPod set to it seems to use whatever the iSimple is set on. Cycle through until you have it set to off. Then select the album you want and it will play the tracks in order.

i'm having a similiar problem....instead of being on ipod mode mine somehow got in AUX1 mode which enables you to still use the ipod to scan through songs and doesn't display the song title on the screen in the car. DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO GET IT BACK TO IPOD MODE????

Switch to another source then push the XM button and immediately turn the tune knob until it shows ipod in the display.

consider reading the quick use laminated card that came with the product, that is, when you get a chance.

Turns out that shuffle was on the iPod itself. Once I disconnected the iPod and turned off shuffle things worked as expected.
