Can the Nav screen be turned completely off?

Hi guys. I have an easy question for you. Can the screen on our navigation screen be turned off while the vehicle is running? My 08 Accord had a button to do just that. I have yet to find this in the 1 year I've had this awesome machine. By my observations it seems that cars that have their Navigation screens high in the dash like the 2nd Gen RL, 2nd Gen MDX, 1st Gen RDX, & 2nd Gen TSX have the option to do just that. I thank you for your help guys. I'm out of the hospital now (had meningitis a 2nd time in 6mo's if you forgot) and am in rehab getting my strength back so i can do much transfers into & out of my car prolifically.

Thank you for the assistance with my question. Stay safe!!!

Des,

press the setup button below the nav screen.
then there will be a soft button named Display with two options... OFF and ON.

hit OFF.

you can do this with voice as well.

>activate voice
setup
display off.

The screen will also automatically blank itself if you don't hit "OK" at the nag screen.
