can i delete a phone book??

I bought my 06 tl used and the last owners phone book is still programmed in. I know you can delete contacts one by one, but is there a way for me to delete his entire phone book without deleting mine? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I had to delete the contacts one by one, which took me about 15 minutes. It was pretty annoying, but you only have to do it once. I don't think there's any other way of removing the previous owner's contacts while keeping yours intact.

Rob, in my '07 Type S, there is a button under the "Info" tab, where you can delete a phone book.

No there is no way around it. When you first purcahsed the car you should have done it then. That's what the dealer mention to me when I purchased both of my TL's. So, before you get to indepth with adding people just go ahead and do a factor reset on the bluetooth..
