I have seen / done most of the hacks concerning the Navi. I (and I'm sure many others) just want the thing to go the Audio Screen automatically. I don't care about the OK button or warning, because I just hit "Audio" instead of OK 99% of the time. I will gladly donate to the beer fund of those who conquer this feat.

Please reply here if you agree.

What are you guys messing with on the audio screen all the time that can't be done from the hardbuttons/voice commands?

Just curious. More power to you if you want/need this hack.

The only reason I pop over to the audio screen is to see the XM song info all at once. I then toggle straight back to the map.

Had AngryDad left some notes about how he hacked the navi, perhaps another sharp programmer could've satisfied this request for you. Nonetheless, you can still visit AD's website and contact him. He may be able to help you get this working.

I listen to XM most of the time. I prefer seeing the Audio info by default. I only use the Navi on road trips, which are rare.

I would love to have it go to the audio screen. I use it 90% of the time. I like to see the song titles on XM and the time for the songs on a CD (not sure why, but I like it). I travel the same 3 miles back and forth to my office everyday, I really don't need the map on at that time. However, now that the OK button is gone, I will probably keep it on the map more often unless I'm listening to XM.

I am always in the audio screen. Like my remote on the big screen, I change my stations constantly. Would love a software change, but I would need a step by step instructions for idiots. I'm not a geek, or even close.

That is NOT the reason why he got banned. He didn't want to become a vendor for this site, so then he started to take advantage of club members by charging $50 to remove the AD emblem. He didn't want to follow forum rules so he got banned. Be glad the admin/mods protect everyone on this site from people getting screwed.

I guess when you have a forum that's full of 16 year olds with no parents around to supervise, someone has to stand up and protect all of us from being taken advantage of. Every one of us could barely afford these cars and every little savings help. God forbid we actually decide to make up our minds on our own. Luckily that's not possible so thanks for making the decisions for us.

Oh yeah, good luck in finding someone to actually do the work and share with the community after this hoopla.

Hey, I am not the one that caused him to get banned. I was gonna use his AD patch and still plan too. If you go look at the original topic. I was the first one to even offer to donate to him and made him think about taking donations. FYI, he caused himself to get banned and other members reported him as well.

So don't even try to stick that on me buddy.

Thanks to those few people, this forum lost the best navi coder it ever had since bysin. Just think what else AD could've done...

Guess the free version from AD is not enough... These people had the gulls to demand Angrydad to remove "AD". When he refused to release it for free he was banned b/c he "takes advantage" of club members??

Although his methods may have not sat well with the mods here, IMO, it was flat wrong to ban him. Everyone here had choices and should be able to make up our own minds.

What flat amazes me is the gall of some people. Lebowski, you should have kept your mouth shut and minded your own business. I can take care of myself thank you very much. I don't need some 24 year old snot nosed kid doing it for me. You got his hack for FREE for crying out loud!! If you didn't like it, remove it and go back to what you had!! No one out there forced you to keep what he did. Unbelievable.

I'm sure after this post I'll be joining AD. So be it. His motives were misinterpreted and he should not have been silenced.
