Calendar...does anyone use it?

I just got a 05 TL and have been tinkering around with it. love the features and gizmos.
I was surprised to see a calendar option and was curious if any one actually used it. And if so could you please give a blurb on how to effectively use the calendar?

I played around with it when I first got my TL, but haven't used it since then...it's just too hard to get to and enter info into. I'd rather just use my planner or PDA.

Mostly a novelty item to me, but my wife was pleasantly surprised when she got in my car one morning and it wished us both a happy anniversary. Scored big points! ;->

The calendar is a novelty item which is redundant since most of us have calendars on our computers and cell phones. The TL's calculator function is redundant too, especially since the MID calculates MPG and most cell phones also have calculators.

However, enormus has given me an idea for getting points for birthdays and anniversaries...

The calculator can be useful for things like converting gallons to litres and vice versa. Ms1995hoo likes it when we travel to Canada because for some reason she can't understand the temperature when it's given in degrees Celsius, so the calculator has been handy for her since it has some direct conversion buttons.
