buying with no navi then going for navi:)
i was wondering if it was possible to go get the navi and have it installed. has any1 done that? im talking about the oem navi not aftermarket ones. please help ty.

IMHO, it'll be pretty hard to accomplish this conversion. So far, I haven't heard anoyone doing so successfully. Trade-in non-Navi for Navi could be more possible.
Perhaps, you should consider non-OEM Navi.

Don't even consider it! I checked into it and found out some depressing things= 1) A different radio ($1000) is required. 2) A different clock/time display ($?) will be needed. 3) 3 wiring harnesses (~$400) behind the dash will need to be changed out 4) Don't forget the NAV unit itself (another $1500-2000). 5) And about 20-25 hrs of shop labor @ ~$65 an hour. 6) etc, etc.....
In Short; Spend the extra $2K for the "with NAV" version. It's really a bargain!
