Hi all. I need some advice on buying a used 2005 Acura TL. It is a 6 speed manual transmission and has two previous owners. One from the NJ and one from CA. It has about 50k miles on it, and when I test drove the car the clutch feels like it has air in it. Is this something that I need to be worried about? the car is selling as it with no warranty for about $21,500 out the door. Should I get warranty on the car? and are there other known issues with this car?

 

wow that's a bit too much for 05. unless your area will bring them that much.
as far as air in clutch, that is an wasy fix. I would take it to a mechanic and let them check out the car out. if they will find anything wrong with it they will point it out to you.

look at autotrader and look at other states and see what they bring for similar year.

 

I just bought an 05 TL Navi AT and i got mine for $18,500 and I got a Honda warranty plus 100,000 mile powertrain warranty also. They are great cars and they had the sticker on my car for $22,500 but just keep saying that you cant make the payments and see how far they will go untill they walk you out the door.
