burn navi dvd?

burn navi dvd?

just got a loaner and tryn to burn the new navi dvd, i tried clone dvd, dvd shrink, and nero with no luck, any help would be much appreciated...

is it even able to be burn with success, and work correctly?

many have tried without success. however, some did say that they were able to. do a search and you will find many post regarding this subject.

You are required to purchase special software, look in audio/elec section.

It burns the disc backwards? if i recall correctly... but the way it burns the disc is totally different from nero and all other competitor softwares

Maybe you should pay for it then.

We pay $2300 for a Nav unit in a car and they expect us to pay $200 every year to get updated discs when the updates IMO should be FREE.

You buy a $400 Garmin and their updates are free. Though I'm not an advocate for piracy as I have legal copies of all software that I own, this is one that really pisses me off.

what color was the disk and what version. Is the DVD burner capable of buring dual layer DVDs? did you use a dual layer DVD? If the disk is a white one, there is a DIY I created in a thread called burn nav dis? by leedogg. YOu cannot copy the orange ones.
