Well, my player didn't play DVD-A's correctly. It took them six weeks...but it was primarily because the dealer didn't know how to order it correctly. When I finally got pissed about it, they figured out that they needed to get the 4-character code that's on the cassette flap. Make sure they did that, I guess.

did you use burnt cds. it is common to see burnt cds damaging radios. especially if you put labels on them.

Had my player die on me, same symptoms. discs stopped playing, wouldn't eject.

Actually, in my case, on occasion I was able to get it to work again for brief periods. You might want to try holding down Eject every once in a while, just in case it gets enough juice to at least give you back your CDs. Based on my experience, it wouldn't be worth reloading those discs, as the player will probably die in a few minutes anyway.

In my case, they ordered a replacement, and it took about a month to get...but now the sweet sweet music fills my interior once again.

Happened to me too, But I told the dealer to give me a new cd player instead of fixing mine, saved alot of time

Also it appeared that the cd player worked only when the car was hot........I found that odd

I had same problem year ago and dealer said it's not covered by warranty
because I used CD-R cds. So I'm using I-pod.
