Bluetooth Poor Sound Quality
Hi,
I linked up my LG325 and recently the people I have talked to have complained that they cannot hear me or that there is a big "lag" in my voice. Any tips to make the sound quality on their end better?
Thanks in advance!

Hmm, I have the same phone with few problems. I believe I read on here that if you turn the speaker volume down on the phone itself that it reduces noise on the other end, so you might try that.

Thanks for the tips! I lowered the volume but some people I talk to claim they cannot hear me at all. I"ll see if I can figure out what's wrong.

try another bluetooth phone (from a friend perhaps). if people still cant hear you, there might be something wrong with the microphone on your HFL. just a thought ...

My suggestion after answering a call is to wait about 3 seconds before talking once the connection is made and the audio is going through the speakers. On my TL if I talk before this time the person will not hear me for the 3 seconds and they will say I am distorted/quiet. This has solved my issues with the hansfree. My car was bought Jan of 04 so it is one of the "first" ones built.
I do not have issues with sound quality when I am the one making calls to others.

I have the LG325 (SprintPCS) as well, and I have done the same thing: Lower the volume completely on the phone, and then when making phone calls, for optimum clarity you should turn off the A/C -- it makes a big difference. Also, realize that highway calls will have more distortion than local/residential road driving b/c of the added noise of road noise and other cars on the highway.
I agree w/ Nip, wait about two seconds when you accept an incoming call, and then start talking ..
