Everyone -

First of all, I've tried the search for this topic and get some hits and some mentions, but no specific thread on recommendations.

Here's my question. I would like to get a bluetooth capable phone to pair with my TL. My contracts are all up, so I can go with whichever carrier offers bluetooth phones. And I'm in the Midwest so most major carriers are available here.

Since I'm a gadget junky, like the rest of us TL owners, I'd like the phone's bluetooth to be completely capable. In other words, I'd like to see the battery indicator and strength meters appear on the MID, as well as be able to transfer contacts into the TL's phonebook.

I've been reading about the motorol V710. I've always been a big phone of motorola (probably because of the StarTAC). But I've noticed that OBEX and OPP were crippled by Verizon (those bastards). Does anyone know if the mysterious firmware will ever be released to correct this problem?

And I've also looked at the SE T637, which appears to have a very robust bluetooth HFP. But there have been some complaints regarding the random appearance of "PHONE" in the MID.

I guess I'm really just asking people's opinion on which phone to get or if I should wait for the next set of phones with bluetooth.
