Bluetooth not working. Need some troubleshooting help!

My battery died recently. It has been weak. I let the car sit in my garage (nothing left on) for about 6 days. Came back and it was 100% dead.

Replaced the battery.

I restart and the bluetooth is not working. I have an '05 Base (no nav.).

The phone is not paired (I assume because I got a new battery).

The button on the steering wheel doesn't work. I push it: nothing happens. By coincidence (?) the button's light is out.

I am thinking about replacing the steering wheel button/module. <-- see link

Has anyone ever done this? Is there much involved in removing and replacing that steering wheel module?

If that doesn't fix the problem, then I guess I have something wrong with the actual handsfreelink module up near the sunroof?

Thank you!
