Been using my phone on BT regularly without a hitch. Today, I got in the car and turned the phone BT on like always. It wouldn't connect yet showed the Handsfree Link still paired. Doing a scan made other BT devices in the vicinity show up on the phone, although I of course couldn't connect to those.

The steering wheel buttons work and my attempts to delete then re-pair the phone starts "searching for a BT phone". Then times out all while the phone scans for a BT device and can't find it.

Everything 'appears' to work, it's just that the car and the phone all of a sudden don't like each other. Do I need a BT module, or is there something I could check or replace?

Bluetooth is dying, mine did the same thing, kept on searching. reset the cars Bluetooth, deleted all prior phones, even reset my phone. I got a new HFL and it works perfectly again.

How much did it set you back? I purchased the light assembly from a junkyard store along with HFL bezel from ebay and it looked like the unit was attached to it from the pictures. Paid $46 shipped and it works just fine. Call me a lucky bastard.
