Blitzsafe Installation

So my wife just bought a 2006 TL (AM)

I bought her the Blitzsafe kit for her iPhone just like the one I have in my 2nd Gen TL. Is it just as easy to install in the 3rd gen? Are there any guides on here that would help me out.

Thanks!

I think you can get to the connector you need if you remove the drive side panel covering the radio, check the 3g garage for a guide. Good luck though I tossed mine because it was garbage, loose pins kept messing up voice commands i think it was, same for another brand as well.

All I really need to know is what side the 14 pin connector is on. You mentioned the driver side panel, is that the only side I need to take apart?

I'm sure the center console trim and plastic under the steering wheel is similar to my second gen.

Well I'm assuming you just pop all the trim around the center console off and then the plastic under the steering wheel. Then you just have to fit your hand back there and plug it in.
