Search maybe?

Any speaker you choose will do.

I've searched and also posted topics like this in the past but never get a response. It seems most on this site would rather just tell you to search than help out. Not sure why it's so hard to recommend something.

I just bought and installed Polk db651s in both doors. If you buy from crutchfield, they include the adapters as well. the crutchfield website says they dont fit the tl, but they do. very easy job. there are two versions of the db651, one is the 's'version and one is not. the 's' version is shallow and fits right in the door.

Because it has already been recommended---many, many times. Check the Audio FAQ on the first page of this section or the 3G Garage here: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/3g-tl-service-department-aka-garage-questions-answers-check-here-first-553557/
IIRC, Infinity and Polk are good fits.

But his title did ask for the BEST speaker on OEM amp. So, Yeah lots of speakers are good, but in anyone's opinion what are the best sounding speakers that will fit without adding an amp?

I know all the jazz, opinion this and that, but best sounding is usually something that can reproduce Hz accurately and without bias.

I just searched the garage on 'speaker' and got: Fix for center speaker rattle and scans for removal of all speakers. There are no topics in the FAQ on aftermarket speakers- seems like that would be a good topic to add for folks.

Yeah, the search sucks. Use Google and search "Speaker acurazine" and you'll get better results. Also check out the FAQ stickied at the beginning of the Audio section and the above-mentioned 3G Garage.
