i do not have the best system around but is decent compare to stock.

Front - Boston pro 60
rear - polk mm6501 (found then cheap and love their tweets)
alpine f600 (150rms x 4)
alpine 450 (450rms mono)
Alpine type r in a ported box

i had a soundgate loc 4chanel and a 2 channel raptor loc for the sub. i was getting a very loud buzz fron the rear that i could not get rid off, it was also coming from the front but it wasn't has loud.
After checking everything my guess was the connection tapping from factory harness.


This time i bought some heavy duty monster twisted cable, solder the connections and ran then to the rear sit where the 3sixty is connected. Used the power wire, remote from same amp and use the same ground point i'm using for both amp After all the connection. i went through the 3sixty oem configuration with my wm sprint diamond phone (it does work with windows 7 32bit and 64bit aswell).

Things that i notice right after
1)buzz noise was gone in all speakers
2)music was 2x louder with the gain now on minimum on both amp while before was around middle level and it would distord if any higher
3) Bass sounded cleanner and fullest


Now when i set my gain to around 1/4 is already to loud and i see that speakers start clipping. It must be that the 3sixty.1 is sending the right amount of voltage needed without the use of amp gain.

i don't know why i read everywhere that u loose bass control over navigation because mine works perfectly fine from the navigation. i can volume up, down, off, right from the deck wihout the need of the 3sixty knob.

i still have more testing to do but has of right now i really like it. After more testing i'll give it my score.

why i got a 3sixty.1 istead of the .2? Well i know the .2 has better equalizer apart from other things but paying $125 brand new for a .1 is a steal.

would i choose a .2 now that i have a .1?nno, i'm not planning on going active and it sound really good at the moment. Before u pay $400 for .2 ask yourself if you really need the xtra features. you still have the option to equalize your speakers and bass (not like the .2 but .1 gives you 5 bands for speakers and 2 sub.
