Been long time and have several problems
How is it going. I have not been on here for a while. Got transferred last year and now I am in VA.
Recently I have had the following problems:
1. Passenger side headlight will flicker after a few minutes of being on and turn off. I believe this is a ballast issue, but have not had time to do testing. If i turn the headlights off and back on, it will come on for a few moments again.
2. Stock amp went haywire. Subs kept on cutting out after turning the volume up to past 15. I was in the middle of troubleshooting over a few day period. One day my wife heard clicking from the inside of my car and came and got me. I quickly discovered it was the amp. The car had been off for a few hours and the amp was extremely hot to the touch. I had the subs running off the stock amp output. I pulled the amp and rewired the connection for my subs.
3. CD and XM modes on radio are not working. I cannot switch to the two modes from the radio or the steering wheel. I have not started troubleshooting this one yet. Just discovered the other day.
4. After connecting battery back up after the amp issue. The KP technologies window roll-up module will not work. The windows work normally from the inside controls. The windows roll down with the key-fob. I have not removed my keyhole cover plate to test the roll-up using the key in the door. I will get to that tomorrow.
One good note though, I figured out why my internal lights flashed with my turn signals. The way the LED's are designed, they cause a feedback into the rest of the lighting system. Since all my interior lights were converted to LED as well, they do not require that much power to light up. The feed-back was enough to cause all the dash lights to flash. Once I get around to it, i will be installing Diodes to stop the feedback voltage.
I hope everyone is still doing good, and welcome to all of the new people since I left.

Welcome back!
1. bulb, ballast or igniter. seems your on the right path
2.OEM amps do crap out
3.sounds like the Head Unit is wonky
4.there is a window reset where you hold the button up ...after the window has fully closed for a few seconds? not kp reset, but OEM. not sure if it will straighten things out?

The window auto feature works fine. The KP technologies module is not working to roll them up while setting the alarm. I may try and figure things out this weekend. But I have to finish cleaning the garage first.
