Battery drain due to bad cassette deck?

Battery drain due to bad cassette deck?

I traced the drain to the circuit which holds amongst other things, the head unit, AC controls, dash lights, and power mirrors. The drain is severe enough to kill the battery in sometime between one and three days. I put in a cassette adapter, which I was going to use in combination with a Bluetooth receiver to utilize hands-free cell phone usage, and to be able to play streaming music through my phone. The cassette player quit working after a week or two, and shortly there after was when my battery problems arose.

Bluetooth

I just bought my girlfriend's old 2005 TL and her bluetooth is actually disconnected for this very reason. The Acura service department told her that the bluetooth was causing the battery drain, and disconnected it for her. It's apparently been disconnected for a couple years now, and I've been driving it for a month and haven't had any issues with the battery. I can't confirm that this is the issue at this point, but I'd start there if I were you. My CD changer/tape deck/head unit is still connected and working fine. Good luck!
