has anybody installed an after market back up camera in their TL non navi..? Just kinda curious as to what brand to look at..wireless vs wired.. cmos vs the more expensive ccd..

any input..?

I cant imagine anyone does because they dont have a screen to show the image without the nav unit...

 

In one of my cars. I got a wired audiovox back up camera from best buys. Bought a mirror/monitor that went over my regular mirror from ebay. Ran the wires-done.

btw: installed the camera in the bumper. that was a bytch.

 

i have a 04 non navi, i installed my pioneer AVH-P6600DVD in and added a boyo brand wired in backup camera. heres some phone pics. still gotta do minor touch up around the unit itself.

 

How about those wireless rearview mirror camera? Did anyone install those?
