Back-up Camera Question

This question is for both TL owners that have stock back up camera and those who have added them. I’ve noticed that when a car with an AT put their car into park (passing through the reverse gear), the reverse lights flash. So, when you put your car’s AT from “Drive” to “Park”, does the navi screen flash to the backup cam?

Never happened to me.

By the way, the other day, I was reading the Owners Manual I've notice that you could adjust brightness while in R by zoom in or out, this does not affect the brightness level while in Driving mode.

Yeah.. it never happend to me either, and if ur really concerned about it, just add a delay timer inline but there is absolutely no need for this.

Awesome. So your Type S stock camera doesn't flash to reverse camera when parking, good to know. I'm adding a camera to my 07 DVD drive (navi conversion) so it should be the same.

Also, for the aftermarket guys, did you guys power your camera with an ACC 12v or did you use the backup bulb 12v source? I guess it only matters if you want to use it when not in reverse.

Anyone know if the stock camera has a constant ACC 6v source? I guess it's easy enough to try it both ways, I just would like to know before I start my project. I don't want it to flicker when parking nor do I want a long image delay when backing up.

Thanks everyone for your help!
