I just installed a 3800BT in my 07 type-S. Only thing I need to do is fab my abs face to fill in the gap, and I need to find out what resister I need to keep the nav screen on/functional. I know if I keep the 26pin in the original radio, then nav screen works, but I dont want to relocate that radio to the trunk just to keep the top screen.

Thx 4 the info. I found the answer to some of my questions from XSCLUSV DESIGNS in N.J. he has a vidieo on the tube of a final installation. I have a dash kit from custom install in Fla. thats a perfect fit. I can rebuild an engine, however when it comes to electronics I'm a tech idiot.

there are a ton of guides here on how to remove the factory radio! You'll need to run the wires from your new radio, remove the factory amp and then connect the radio to the speakers.
