Auxiliary input question

Hi All,

I just bought an 2008 Acura TL(without navigation) and I'm having a hard time finding an auxiliary cable so that I can play music from my ipod or iphone.

All of the cables I've found are male-to-male connectors. The console auxiliary input looks like a usb connection.

Acura told me I can play my iphone, i just have to find a cable.
Apple told me that I can not because no cable exists.

Does a usb interface cable exists that plugs into the auxiliary input and the iphone/ipod or is there a kit that I have to buy?

Thanks for any help!

a usb connection port? i've never seen that...do you have a picture?

all you should need is a male-male 3.5mm cable. radio shack, best buy, etc. it's like 5$.

port should be in your center console.

pics would help tho.

Hahaha...I'm such an idiot!! Looking down into the dark console it looked like a usb port, but after shining a flashlight on it to see, I realized it was a cover over the port....duh!!

Thanks for your help!
