im getting an auxiliary input installed in my 06 TL and was wondering where
i should get it installed? dont really wanna get it installed in glovebox
as thatd be pretty annoying opening n closing it to change songs on ipod/phone
was thinking of center console but would you be able to use it while the
center console is closed for example make a little hole for aux wire to peek out
if so where should that hole be made (somewhere where it wont really damage
the plastic to make the rest of it fall apart)

and if you have gotten an aux input installed for your 04-06 TL pls post pics of where you had it installed

Nope was going to buy it & get it installed from a local shop, they said i could pretty much put it anywhere reasonable

 

Yep you could installed it in the center console like the 4G. At the bottom part of the console of the 4G, there is a small dent downwards where the Aux port fits into. You can cut into the material to make your own grooved inset. If that makes sense. If you want me to post a picture, let me know. Kinda hard to describe it in words.
