Question Audio tone

I have an 07 TL. When I press the button for the phone I hear a clear audio response tone. But when I press the botton for the navi, I get no response tone. (The navi does respond.) Is this normal? If not, is there an easy fix or will the dealer adjust it? Thanks.

MOD EDIT: Moved to Audio sub-forum. -XP

What button exactly? The "Talk" button that you click to give voice commands? Left, lower back-side, on the steering wheel?

If so, it gives a beep when it is "ready to listen". I don't have a bluetooth phone, so I use this for all other voice commands (Climate Control, Radio, Nav) and it always beeps when I press it.

Yes, the "talk" button for the navi system. NOT the phone. No beep at all.

Welcome to Acurazine!

Try entering the Navi "setup" (button just to the left of the Navi joystick at the bottom of the screen), go to page 3 (tab #3) and activate "voice prompts."

My '05 Navi beeps when I pull the Navi switch on the steering wheel, but it has always had voice prompts activated.

Thanks for the feedback. My voice prompts have always been activated. I don't think that is the problem. To test it, try to deactivate your voice prompts and see if the "beep" goes away. I think mine is there but it is so low i can barely hear it when the car is parked.
