Audio System Dying Down?

Hey,

I noticed that recently I have to turn up the sound quite a bit on the audio system. I usually listen to XM, but when I first got the car, the volume would be around 4-8. Now, it seems like it has to be close to 20. Maybe I have just gone deaf in the past few months. Anybody else experience this?

No, but this sounds like an actual problem - you should have your dealer check it out!

Thanks for the confirmation. Just wanted to make sure I am not going deaf. I'll try and take it to the dealer this weekend. Thanks.

I went to the dealership and they said the Navi Volume was turned down all the way. It doesn't seem to affect the XM/radio sound, and I was in a hurry, so I just left. If it keeps occuring again, I will take it back.

So you went in telling them that the XM/Audio system seemed to be experiencing a muting of sorts and they turn up the Navi volume?? What a JACKASS!! Was this Al the Acura techs first TL??

I would have asked to speak to the service manager as that is the only way that you get taken care of. I reemed my dealership on the survey, and low and behold they wised up. As a whole I find Acura service laughable at best (especially since they are pitching upscale vehicles)!! The techs are morons!

This will NOT correct the issue!!
