Audio System Dying Down?
Audio System Dying Down?
Hey,
I noticed that recently I have to turn up the sound quite a bit on the audio system. I usually listen to XM, but when I first got the car, the volume would be around 4-8. Now, it seems like it has to be close to 20. Maybe I have just gone deaf in the past few months. Anybody else experience this?

i have experienced the exact same thnig as you. 3 months ago when i first got my car, the volume at 10 used to be real loud enough. But now, i have it between 20-30. I dont know if its jsut mental or what. at times volume 10 sounds as loud as it used to bem and other tiems i bearly hear it.
I went to the dealership and they said the Navi Volume was turned down all the way. It doesn't seem to affect the XM/radio sound, and I was in a hurry, so I just left. If it keeps occuring again, I will take it back.

I would have asked to speak to the service manager as that is the only way that you get taken care of. I reemed my dealership on the survey, and low and behold they wised up. As a whole I find Acura service laughable at best (especially since they are pitching upscale vehicles)!! The techs are morons!
This will NOT correct the issue!!
