Audio Help!!

Ok, i recently replace all my speakers in my car to Polk Audio DB 6.5, and they are power by a JL Audio 340.4 ch amp. I though replaceing everything i would get more sound and little bit more bass, but things seem to be the same as the factory speakers but more clear.

My audio guy says i need to get an sound processor to get the best sound out of them. Is this true??? Or did they just not tune it right??

I know little bit about sound processors and was going to get one when i installed my subs because thats when everyone says i will need one. i have been looking at the Audiocontrol lc6i. Any input is welcome.

no need for a processor...

direct solder to the factory low level...

add a subwoofer and you're golden...

direct solder what? I'm not best when it comes to audio. Had an audio place install them too. So they did something wrong, if it sounds the same as factory??
First time changing speakers on a vehicle. I had subs in my previous vehicle, but left the speaker alone.
