I have a 2007 TL-S. Lately, the audio controls (AM/FM, DVD selection, Power button, etc) have started locking up randomly. Pressing the power on/off doesn't do anything. Sometimes, ejecting the disc and inserting it back starts the audio but none of the controls work - can't even adjust the volume. Power the car off and back on seems to work but last few days that stopped working too. Is this is a known issue? Any help on troubleshooting the cause?

Sorry, I have been a member for sometime but looks like I never posted. So, hi to everyone.

 

I've oddly had this happen a few times too. What I did recently was to press and rotate the power/volume button with a lot of force and it seems to free things up. It's been issue free for me for a while now - if that does work for you, then I'd suggest a day of taking things apart and cleaning. There could be some accumulated dust and whatnot in there
