Exclamation Attention JL 250/1 500/1 owners

jl audio has the speaker to rca cable for sale now on their website under audio accesories 12.95!! You use this cable to add a sub directly from the factory sub wires there is NO need for a loc or remote wire!! You can use this cable to run from the tl sub to the amp and not run a remote wire since the jl amps use signal sensing for turn on !!

Not sure about the other jl amps the 200/1 and 500/1 are the only ones i have delt with! You can search the amps on the jl site to see if any others use signal sensing technology!

Sort of...
I'm using a JL e1200, and it DOES require a switched power source to turn the amp on, but it also supports high level input. Just run the existing sub wires to the amp input.

Yup...you could run a remote wire for your amp turn-on from fuse 32 on the fuse block, or run that same remote line from a relay, if you're turning on multiple devices.

Lots of JL amps support line-level inputs...I'm running a 500/1 and a 350/4.
