Just curious if anyone has done this yet. I was holding off for awhile so I didn't lose the functionality of my PXAMG. Has anyone upgraded yet? Any loss of functionality?

I downloaded the new iOS To my iphone but haven't connected the phone to the isimplyet and i don't have an itouch either . The new iOS is pretty good, wondering if the isimple needs to be updated

consensus suggests its safe to upgrade to ios6....

what i am really wondering is how the new iphone/ipodtouch connecter is going to work. yes apple is making adapters but i still want to see some kind of verification here on acurazine. i wonder if isimple will make an upgraded wire

I just called isimple and asked about a new cable that will work with the iphone 5. sounds like they are already working on one and are a few weeks out.

I'm currently using the apple adapter on my PXAMG. It's really buggy. Causes the volume hud to get stuck on my iPhone 5 screen and I have to reboot the phone to fix. Can't wait for the new cable. Did they give any kind of ETA?

I just spoke with a rep from iSimple and they are still waiting for Apple to release the rights to manufacture the lightning connector the iPhone 5 uses. So there no telling how long it will take. Sounds like we need to be contacting Apple to push them towards releasing the lightning connector specs to iSimple, but I don't see that being that simple. (No pun intended, ha).

For now the 30-pin to lightning will have to do the trick.

this is bullshit its been a year now! If apple is so stingy how did isimple get the 30 pin design in the first place. Any one pre-order the new phone? I want to see if iOS 7 will work with the current isimpe software.

I agree. It's stupid. I even asked them if they thought about do a software update that would allow the 30-pin adapter to stay plugged into the Gateway cable, so you don't have to plug the adapter in the phone first.... The guy just kind of hesitated and it that was an obvious no. Maybe we should go do some independent contracting for them and make things happen. Ha

Anybody upgrade to ios 6.1.4 yet and see if it still works with the iSimple gateway?
