What a tung twister... Anyway, you would have to just tap off the wires either back by the unit itself or behind the head unit. Much how DOM's unit taps into it to split the signal for video... You wont be able to get touch screen to the headrest to control it soo easy...

avelectonics makes a multi input device that will allow you to show 3 different sources on 4 different monitors simultaneously. Cost about $599.00 and has a built in TV tuner.

Has anybody actually managed to get NAV signal on headrest monitors?

I would prefer this kind on setup: Constantly display everything from NAV screen on headrests (inc. backup camera). And have option to play DVD only on headrests while using NAV at the front.

Yep...
That's the one. and ou have to specify you want the "Euro-code" version, which is the avelectronic.com multi-video switcher that supports outputting the NAV display to alternate sources.

That's exactly what your kids/buddies want to look at... a map of where they're going.
My last trip to Germany, that's what was displayed on the screens in flight... pure misery seeing how far you had to go and how slow you were getting there with all the screamin' babies and stinky people.
