So these are the subs I'm looking at getting. On amazon they're 125 for the subs in a box, and 220 for the subs in a box plus an amp. I heard the amp is crappy that comes with the package, so I'm gonna buy the subs alone and buy a seperate amp.
I've never done anything like this before and every task I take on is by diy guides and youtube so I won't have trouble with the installation, but what amp should I buy? Not really sure how to pick and choose.
also does anyone have these? positive/negative reviews? the reviews are stunning on amazon
EDIT:
I also see this set up for cheap..
Amazon.com: Audiopipe XBX1200B Xxx Bass Pkg.dual 12 W/amp + Amp Kit. 1200 Watts. Black Woofers: Camera & Photo
no reviews though. but it comes with amp and wiring kit for 178. My budget is around 200 so I am lost with what to buy

Is your budget 200 for the entire project? Damn dude, accessories for a proper install are at least $40. And based on word of mouth and my gut, the products you linked are very low quality (what I mean by that is they have a high chance of failing). My suggestion is save up at least 500 so you can buy a decent sub(s) with a decent amp and install it properly. If you can't increase your budget, you have to risk crappyness. At these prices, you're better off shopping used craigslist stuff. Can probably find a better deal on a better product. Or check out the black market on this site, there is frequently audio equipment posted up there.
